These are the terms for using weakspot.app, operated as Weakspot. By using the site you agree to them.

The service

Weakspot is a chess tactics trainer. The live puzzle trainer is free to use. Weakspot Pro is a paid subscription that adds personalized weakness analysis from your imported games; some analysis features are still in active development and may change or expand over time.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up.

Subscriptions and billing

Pro subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for. See our Refund Policy for refund terms.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service; do not use it to violate the terms of any chess platform whose games you import; do not attempt to resell or redistribute the service without our permission.

Your content

Games you import remain yours. You grant us permission to store and analyze them solely to provide the service to you.

Disclaimer

Weakspot is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that the analysis is error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Weakspot is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
